The Link Between Antichrist and Mars
Previous pages have described the correlation between the Antichrist, Baal and Satan. Secular mankind is prey to the deception that ANYONE EXCEPT the rebellious angelic host, the ben Elohim, inhabited Mars. So many are willing to make the "leap of faith" to accept intelligent beings inhabited the Cydonia region of Mars, a view that until recently could be viewed as crazy, yet these same "open-minded" people consider it completely outlandish to conclude that the explanation for other intelligent beings, their civilizations on other planets, and their current place of residence in the atmosphere and aerial regions outward from Earth has been right in front of us all along....in the Bible.Speculation as to the nature of the builders of Cydonia will, no doubt, be considered worthwhile only if associated with the New Age, Eastern traditions, or even Humanist philosophy, which have been embraced by those of a scientific bent. The appropriation of the "All is One" credo of Eastern Mysticism to account for the coincidences, synchronicities, and outright obvious patterns inherent in "scientific" disciplines has replaced the wisdom of the Bible. Of course there are similarities, universal laws, strangely repeating patterns and intricate "chaotic" mathematical equations discernible within creation...the universe comes from the Mind of One Creator.
Notice the first sentence:
...he shall magnify himself above all...
Taken at face value, this implies that the Antichrist will not deny the existence of other "gods". He will admit they exist, but declare himself the greatest among them. The next sentence reads:But in his place he shall honor the god of fortresses...
Again we see the title given to the enigmatic god the Antichrist pays tribute to. The Hebrew word is Ala Mahozim. This name occurs in only one place in the Bible, in Daniel 11, but there are other names of pagan gods from antiquity which mean exactly the same thing. Besides the already established connection with Baal, or his full name in this case, Baalhazor,"Lord of the Fortresses", there is a curious parallel between this Ala Mahozim and the god Melkart, worshiped in the island kingdom of Tyre. This god was supposedly brought to the island by Astarte after he had fallen from the heavens. His names means, "King of the Fortresses". This is typical of how Satan has distorted the truth to establish his own prophetic myths in other cultures, which he will fulfill in the End Times.
The most relevant correlation between the god of fortresses and Mars, however, is found in Greek and Roman mythology. The god Mars is said to have been worshiped in the form of two idols, one called Mars Gradivus-Mars of War and the other Mars Quirinus-Mars of Fortresses. This was because the god Mars was not only a fierce warrior, but also a great Builder of Cities. The name "Mars" itself was a Roman form of the Chaldean word "Mar", or "Mavor" which meant "the rebel".
The next sentence of Daniel's description of the Antichrist and his god of fortresees is most intriguing:39 And he shall act in the strongholds of the
fortresses with an alien god,
whom he shall acknowledge, he shall increase glory;
Here it is apparent that the Antichrist will not only acknowledge the "aliens", the minions of the "alien god of fortresses", but he will also control their activities. He will be their "emissary" and spokesman....and he shall cause THEM to rule over many,
and shall divide the land for a price.
These words are astounding! They show that the Antichrist will not only interact with the god of fortresses, but also, the minions of this "alien god".
Daniel not only foresaw what the Antichrist will do during his reign of evil, he also discerned the "heart" of the delusion the Antichrist will perpetuate. The revelation of an "ancient" civilization discovered on the planet bearing the rebel's name will prove that intelligent life, other than man, exists in the universe. The structures on Mars so evident in the Cydonia region will cause people to doubt the Bible. Proof of Cydonia will lead to the conclusion that the entities responsible not only designed and guided our species through history, they also qualify as our gods. That blasphemy taken one step further is popular... that the beings from Mars, and in UFOs, are the God of the Bible. This is THE strong delusion sent by God for "those dwelling on the earth to believe the lie" II Thess 2:11.
One more uncanny item of note in all this...Richard Hoagland, the foremost authority of the Cydonia region on Mars refers to the most prominent feature of the "city" complex as "the fortress"!
