Congruity is a technical information system, providing desktop access to a variety of externally and internally generated part and document information used throughout product design, manufacturing, procurement and support. Congruity is composed of three elements: IHS Xpert databases, component management software, and scanned images. The Xpert databases available with Congruity include:

Xpert Semiconductors--1.5 million different ICs and discrete semiconductors
Xpert Mil Specs and Standards--265,000 active and historical military and federal specifications and standards
Xpert Worldwide Commercial Standards--240,000 documents from many U.S. and international standards organizations
Xpert Vendor Catalogs--60,000 catalogs from over 17,000 manufacturers with information on millions of commercially available parts
