About the Game
Eh? PokΘMon Trading Card GB? Now, you're probably thinking, "Oh hey! PokΘDome got info on the PokΘMon's trading card game!" WELL, in a way, you are not completely correct, nor completely wrong. In Japan, since probably like a few months into 1996, or '97, there was the PokΘMon Trading Card game. It allowed you to play PokΘMon using...cards. There's cards for each of the PokΘMon, and there's cards such as Evolution cards, and...other cards. SO, why did I title this section as "PokΘMon Trading Card GB"? Well, because there's a PokΘMon Trading Card game for Game Boy! Due to the popularity of the card game, Nintendo and GameFreak decided to make the game into a Game Boy game! In this adaption of the card game to Game Boy, the developers has decided to give PokΘMon the Game Boy Color treatment! Yes, now PokΘMon are in COLOR! However, the sprites still are midget people with no legs. Anyway, looking at the screenshots, seems like the game still has a world to explore, despite it's main purpose of playing the card game. Maybe you get to catch PokΘMon er something...WELL, the REAL Trading card game IS coming over to the U.S. for sure, so guess we'll possibly find out.
