Terms and conditionsUsing the University’s IT facilities is covered by a number of different sets of terms and conditions. These exist to make sure that the IT systems and networks work as well as possible for the majority of members of the University, and that the systems are not used for any illegal purposes or in a way that could damage the reputation of the University. As well as the main University IT Regulations, there are some specific ResNet usage regulations that you must agree to when you subscribe to the ResNet service. Breaking any of these terms and conditions is taken very seriously, and can lead to action under the University’s disciplinary procedures, or in some cases legal action.
