it CD 2006This CD includes free software to help you make your computer more secure while you are at the University of Exeter. We have also included some other useful free software and tools, and a guide to ResNet, the Internet connection service available from most University-owned accommodation. You will find much more information about IT facilities at the University from the Information Services web site, www.exeter.ac.uk/is. Some software on this CD is only for PCs running Microsoft Windows and may not run on computers using other operating systems (such as Apple Macs). For more information or other versions, visit the manufacturer’s web site listed with each software item. Important – software licensingYou can install all the software on the itCD on any computer owned by the University of Exeter, a current student or a member of University staff. Any software installed from this CD must be removed from your computer when you cease to be a member of the University. More detailed licence agreements apply to some of the software, and you will have to accept those conditions in order to install the software.
